Technology FAQs

What technology do I need to attend?

  • This virtual event is held over Zoom, so in order to participate, you will need access to a stable internet connection, smartphone, tablet, or computer that is equipped with a working webcam and microphone.

I have never used Zoom before. Do you have any recommendations?

  • You will need to download Zoom to your device prior to the event. You may also choose to sign up for a free Zoom account. If you do this, you could then set up a Zoom meeting with a friend to practice using Zoom prior to the event.

How do I test my video and microphone prior to the event?

  • When you are in a Zoom meeting, at the bottom you’ll find the Unmute and Video buttons. Each of these has a small arrow to the right of the icon. When you click on the arrow a menu pops up with the option to access the Audio or Video Settings. When you click into the Audio Settings you can test your speaker and microphone. In Video Settings, you can adjust anything you need to with your camera or video.

  • Again, if you have never used Zoom before and are feeling anxious about using it, the best thing to do would be to practice with a friend prior to the event so you can see how each of the buttons and settings work.

When will I receive the Zoom info for the event?

  • You will receive your unique Zoom meeting link the day before the event.
  • If you do not receive the information at this time, please contact us at hello@rebeccarosen.com

I purchased this as a gift. How do I make sure my friend gets the Zoom information?

  • If you purchased this as a gift for someone else and you are not attending but you received this email, please contact us at hello@rebeccarosen.com with your friend’s email information.

The event starts at 5pm MT. What time should I log into the event?

  • While the event starts at 5:00pm MT, we will welcome you into the event from the waiting room at 4:45pm MT. Please join the event early so that we can go over valuable and necessary details and ensure that the event starts on time.
  • Please note that if you arrive later than 5:00pm MT, there will likely be a delay in admitting you to the event.
  • You have a private link for the event so once admitted from the waiting room you are checked in automatically.

Will you record the event?

  • The webinar will be recorded and the replay will be sent to all registrants through email.

May I record the event?

  • We ask that you do not record the event. The webinar will be recorded by Rebecca's team and sent through email.
