How to Find Clarity in Our Life Assignments and Lessons!
"How can we clarify our life lessons?" This topic has been a central point in my personal journey, and I believe it can help many of us make sense of our lives.
One of the first things I encourage you to do is to take some time to meditate and reflect on your life. Consider the common patterns that seem to recur - these could be in relationships or any other aspect of your life. For instance, if you've found that your relationships often leave you feeling more like a caretaker than an equal partner, this is a pattern to note. The critical point here is that we are not victims. These recurring themes are happening for a reason - to teach us valuable lessons.
To extract these lessons, we need to ask empowering questions like, "What is this here to teach me?" and "How can I grow from this?" rather than the disempowering "Why is this happening to me?" Shifting from "why" to "what" and "how" helps move us away from the victim mentality and towards a perspective of growth and self-improvement.
Another crucial sign to consider is when something deeply triggers you, but you can't quite pinpoint why. This often signals an unresolved issue within us. The people around us act as mirrors, reflecting back our own unhealed parts. Remember, it's not about them; it's about us.
In this context, I often refer to Dr. David Hawkins and his scale of consciousness. Emotions play a huge role in our personal development, as they are our truth. They don't lie. These feelings act as our personal guidance system and can't simply be "loved and lighted away". If you're frustrated, sit with that frustration. Over time, it will transmute and rise up the scale of consciousness, making you feel lighter.
The ultimate goal here is to elevate our vibration from lower, denser energies to higher ones. When you reach a state of neutrality or above on Hawkins' scale, that's when the magic of the law of attraction starts happening. It's a natural flow towards finding your purpose and healthy ways to utilize it.
Importantly, while for some people, their purpose might align with their job, for others, it might not. If your job and purpose don't align, it's vital to find other healthy ways to fulfill your purpose. Ultimately, it all boils down to managing your energy and honoring your feelings.
If you're feeling triggered, stuck, or recognize a recurring pattern, don't point fingers at others. Instead, take accountability. When we can acknowledge our feelings and take responsibility for our reactions, we can better navigate our lives. In the grand scheme of things, when our time comes to leave this earthly plane, we will awaken fully and have to own everything - our actions, feelings, and decisions. It's a profound realization that can help us live more consciously today.
